So happy to see that this fun challenge lives on. The perfect way to say goodbye to summer and welcome fall.
ReplyDeleteHmmmm. Thinking of some non fiction. Any suggestions!?
ReplyDeleteSundays With Vlad is a very entertaining book about one man's search for the "real Dracula", examining the role of that most famous vampire in popular culture along the way.
DeleteYay! So glad to see RIP back for another year!
ReplyDeleteshocking but unsurprising the first read reviewed is a picture book. but there are monsters...and a GULP moment.

Hope everyone is enjoying the event thus far. I need to get my first review up!
ReplyDeleteLoving it, as always! Such a great way to throw ourselves into the season.
DeleteI just reviewed Ann Girdharry's fourth standalone story from her collection, Tales of the Unexpected: "Written on the Apple Tree". It's pretty cheap, and worth more than it costs. I really enjoyed it. And it was a very, very quick read.
ReplyDeleteI've completed what I set out to do! (plus some, but only linking to what I originally planned)
ReplyDeleteThanks to all in charge... I've thoroughly enjoyed myself and look forward to participating again next year! Thanks, too, for all the wonderful reviews... I've enjoyed perusing many of them. :)

ReplyDelete( The Typo Monster -- how appropriate, considering the season, lol -- struck again, so I deleted my previous comment.)
ReplyDeleteI'm joining in for the first time this year! But I'm doing so with my literary fiction/nonfiction book blog, MindSpirit Book Journeys, not my YA fiction blog.
There are SO many participants! WOW. I can see that a lot of people love this challenge! I am now going to make it a yearly tradition!
Thank you so much to all the organizers -- past and present!! : )
First time participating... I had fun, even though my book was a dud. :)
ReplyDeleteI just added the link to my review of Welcome To Night Vale, which is released today (and which I received as an eARC). Have at it, bibliophiles!
ReplyDelete1st timer here as well and really enjoyed the focus as mysteries are a fav - Thanks for hosting!
